Solar Power International 2011 - we roam the Dallas Convention Center

So Thaddeus and I have been here a couple of days and been walking the exhibit halls...here is a sampling of what we have seen and some of the things that have wowed us...

Fronius inverter

Solar water heater above...and a sampling of different panels below...

The panel above was one HUGE panel...about 35 feet high! I guess everything IS bigger in Dallas....

The PV Box, this is where they put solar guys when they misbehave!

Solar powered trailer above...

Roof mounts

Building-integrated solar panels...Europe is using these all over the place...

Backpacks and laptop bags with solar panels built in for recharging cell phones and laptops...

Concentrated photovoltaics

Thin-film photovoltaics above, and a solar-electric scooter below...

Photovoltaic cells mounted on clear plastic...used a lot on bus stops and other applications that require light to come through...

This is me giving the speaker panel on solar jobs a hard time...give the homies a shot, give the homies a job!

Charging station for electric cars...

The infamous solar energy system built for really little people...Thaddeus?

Me and the solar bunnies...wow...I love PV!
